Street Child is a UK charity, established in 2008, that aims to create educational opportunity for some of the most vulnerable children in West Africa.

will you be a street child champion?

We are looking for passionate and enthusiastic supporters to become the very heart of Street Child fundraising.

We have ambitious plans. We need incredible people to become Street Child Champions. We are asking you to help us raise vital funds; to join with others and help make a real difference to the lives of children.

If you were considering taking on a challenge… or even if you weren’t… please join us, help us fundraise and help create a better future for thousands of vulnerable girls. Because together we can achieve so much more.

Organise your own fundraising activities or a series of events. You don't have to do this all by yourself - ask your friends or colleagues to help and we will support you all the way.

Support one or a few of Street Child events with your own time and contacts – click here for more information.

Reach out to your community for opportunities to spread the word; talk to schools, churches and shared interest groups and get them excited about Street Child's work. We will help with resources and handouts to make sure you are as prepared as possible.

this month's Street Child champion:

Claudia held a bake sale at her dad’s work. After securing adverts in the weekly newsletters she had 12 bakers create a variety of delicious treats. To raise a bit more money she included a ‘Guess how many sweets in the jar’ game for people to get involved with whilst they queued for the bake sale. This was a great opportunity to raise awareness and spread the word of the work of Street Child. Altogether she raised an amazing £400 in just 45 minutes!

She then went on to organise a bag pack at her local store and raised a further fantastic £820!
