Welcome to the team!
Thank you so much for choosing to support Street Child at the Craft Half this February - welcome to the team! You are now part of the Street Child family. We've put together this page as a one stop shop for all fundraising support but, as ever, if you have any questions drop us an email at: email@example.com or call us on: 0207 614 76 96!
Find Your Fundraising Page.
We've made it super simple for you here and teamed up with Everyday Hero so that your fundraising page was automatically created when you signed up. You'll find a link in your welcome email but if you can't find that check out the full list here (For Thetford) or here for Wimbledon.
If you can’t find your page, drop us an email and we’ll send you a link!
Personalise your page - the stats from our fundraising gurus do not lie; personalised pages with a photo and short bio or a few lines about why you are taking on the challenge raise on average 118% more than a blank page!
Make the first donation count - If your first donation is bigger people will donate more on average. Line up a loved one, or do it yourself, and make that first donation as generous as possible - it will see you off to a flying start and encourage others to donate more.
Share and update! Share your page and engage with all who sponsor you - whether in person, by email or on social media. Remember to thank donors (those who do, raise on average 80% more). EverydayHero pages sync with Strava and Map My Run to automatically post your runs. Pages that link runs and update regularly raise 46% more! And if you're concerned about over-sharing the same link add some content and update on your training, on injury niggles or some small wins - not only will it make people more invested in your journey but it will keep the information, and ask, fresh and appealing. Give people a figure as a suggested donation to show what their support actually means. For example: £30 is enough to send a child to school for a year.
Events. Events are excellent fundraisers. From karaoke nights, film screenings and music to supper clubs, bake sales and pub quizzes, simple events combined with some smart extras (raffles, auctions) can really elevate your fundraising.
Don't forget match funding! -many companies offer to match donations for staff members undertaking charitable challenges. Speak to your boss/HR team if you want to find out more. This is such an easy way to maximise your fundraising!
GOOD LUCK! If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to get in touch: firstname.lastname@example.org
