Street Child continuing to reach those in need of humanitarian aid in Ebola-stricken Sierra Leone

Our team in Sierra Leone has been distributing humanitaian aid in Bo, the country's second biggest city this week.

Working directly with the Ministry for Social Welfare, Bo City Council and community leaders, our team was busy ensuring that families within houses under quarantine are receiving adequate access to food, water and medicine. The 20 houses reached yesterday were all quarantined as a result of a member of the household having contracted the virus.

Representatives from the Ministry of Social Welfare described the team's interventions as timely and supportive in the fight against Ebola.
