Philanthropy.

We work in partnership with our donors and local organisations to make a lasting impact in the lives of some of the world’s most vulnerable children. Our latest appeal 'Right to Learn' will support 10,000 of the most vulnerable children in West Africa to go to school and learn.

What's more, through UK Aid Match, from 16th November to 15th February the UK government will match all donations to our Right to Learn appeal, pound for pound, helping to change twice as many lives.

Get in touch to find out more about our appeal and how we can help you make the most of a gift from you or your trust.

Why Street Child?

Street Child strives to ensure every child has the chance to go to school and receive a quality education. We work at a grassroots level to remove barriers to education through a wide range of projects. This includes livelihood support, psychosocial support, school building, teacher training and providing education for children in emergencies.

As a partner of Street Child we will work with you to create a tailored programme of project involvement and feedback, which could include personalised updates and reports, chances to visit projects and exclusive events.

Our Impact.

Street Child delivers lasting change for the communities that need it most. Since 2008 we have built or repaired over 400 schools, supported over 15,000 families to set up small sustainable businesses, and have helped provide education for over 120,000 children.  Our results speak for themselves:

  • Over 92% of children supported by us stay in school
  • 90% of businesses are sustained for at least a year after all support has ceased
  • We are highly rated by our funders
