Schools and Community Groups
Education is at the heart of Street Child’s work – helping some of the most vulnerable children in West Africa and Nepal to access primary education for the first time. Our new appeal Girls Speak Out aims to help another 20,000 children go to school, focusing on providing girls with the support they need to stay in education long-term.
From 18th April to the 17th July all donations made to our Girls Speak Out Appeal will be doubled by the UK government, so there’s never been a better time to make a contribution. With your help we can reach twice as many children and families in communities across Sierra Leone and Liberia.
We've got loads of ideas, educational resources and opportunities for your school to get involved with Street Child's work and make a difference to thousands of children in Sierra Leone and Liberia this summer. Click here for more information on how you can support Street Child.
Street Child is looking to reach out to Rotary Clubs, Lions Clubs and Soroptimists across the UK for support on our Girls Speak Out Appeal. Find out how you can make a difference for girls and their families in Sierra Leone and Liberia here.
Whether you’re in a Mother’s Union, Youth Group, Scout Troop, PTA or Book Club we’d love you to get involved and support our appeal.
